Below is a well written piece by a minister from the United Kingdom named J. John Canon. He is an excellent and thought provoking speaker. I felt this piece below was appropriate to pass on considering halloween is coming up. I used to celebrate halloween, in fact, it was my favorite holiday – I loved it! After reading what J. John wrote about how it dishonored ELOHIM [Hebrew word for GOD and who I believe is FATHER/SON/HOLY SPIRIT] and the further investigation I did on its roots, I decided to throw out all my halloween decorations and not celebrate it anymore because I wanted to show ELOHIMGOD I loved HIM more than what is of HIS enemy: death, darkness, evil, wickedness, witchcraft, magic, the undead, blood lust, lust, fear, torment, horror, deceit, trickery, superstition, uncleanness, curses, and pagan ways – all of which halloween celebrates. When buying our house in Baton Rouge, we were told by the previous homeowners that they had “ghostly occurrences” happen such as hearing a baby cry and that the first homeowners had a history of mental illness. Anything labeled today as mental illness is a deception of the enemy and what I believe is going on [and Scripture backs up] is that demons/unclean spirits are afflicting/inhabiting the person and/or controlling our emotions/mind through chemical imbalances, oppression, and/or possession. Joel Rosenberg – War Games: Iran, Russia, China, Syria
A friend forwarded me the information below which Joel Rosenberg posted on his Flash Traffic blog. I had read either last year or the year before on Yahoo Finance that China was starting to build its military forces and that they have many barges filled with mineral resources [coal/copper/etc] sitting at docks all around their coastline. They are also accumulating gold, large diamonds, and water. What is also interesting to me is that some translations of the Old Testament [Covenant/the Hebrew Tanakh] say “Gog” in verses like Yechezk’el [Ezekiel] 38:18 while an Aramaic translation I like says “China” [Holy Bible from the Ancient Eastern Text – George Lamsa]. One possibility could be that Gog and Magog were ancient tribes of modern China. Continue reading

I had a friend tell me about this man and I read the Wikipedia information on him which I have included below. I encourage you to read his whole story. What is especially of interest to me is his faith in Elohim’s (Hebrew word for God) providing for him and those in his charge. I have struggled with wanting to be led by HIM and trying to let HIM lead, but then I get worried or impatient if something doesn’t happen in my timing, and I move forward on my own and then wonder if I have angered HIM or if HE has had it with me and my lack of trust. My story – part 2 – on my own

I was 21 and looking to get out of the “emotional black hole” that was my parent’s house that I felt was sucking the life from me. I had just started dating and was naive and emotionally/socially immature because of lack of socialization and how my mother schooled me. The WHOLE TRUTH and nothing but the TRUTH…
I am going to start talking about my story and get into more intense topics. I have told many of you that I met that I had a lot happen to me in a short period of time and that Elohim (Hebrew for God) made it really clear to me that HE and HIS word (the Bible) was the truth and that almost everything I had been believing in previously was a lie. I was convinced I knew the truth just as many people want to believe they know the truth. Considering how many beliefs there are out there including differing beliefs in Christianity, I hope that everyone can admit that there is untruth as well as truth in us all. Did you know that HE requires more from us with the New Covenant
I thought this was interesting when I realized there was a difference between the verses telling us how we were to love Adonai our Elohim in the Old Covenant (Testament) compared to the New Covenant. In D’varim (Deuteronomy) 6:5 it says “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might”. Another translation I use, The Complete Jewish Bible by David Stern says, “and you are to love Adonai (Hebrew for my Lord) your God (Elohim is the Hebrew word for God) with all your heart, all your being and all your resources”. Distractions by the enemy: cell phones, texting, radios, talking-thoughts-sleepiness, and earphones
I wanted to share a few thoughts and tell you about some things that happened to me and others. Shortly after I turned my life over to Elohim (Hebrew for God), I felt HIM work on me about giving up using a cell phone while driving. HE also brought to my attention about how car radios, texting, people talking, and many other distractions including using ear phones while walking can all cause one to be involved in accidents ranging from minor to taking lives.
