Texas abortion bill, let’s get our FATHER in Heaven’s attention by thanking, praising, and blessing HIS NAME!

Look’s like the bill will come up again for a vote on Tuesday, July 9th unless something changes. Instead of doing another “fast and prayer”, wanted to try something different to get our FATHER [ABBA] in Heaven’s attention. So let us “thank HIM, praise HIM, and bless HIS name” and ask for HIS Will to be done!

There are some examples of this in verses at the bottom of this study. Try singing them to HIM or write your own and sing them. Also, if you have never bowed/knelt/prostrated yourself to HIM why are you waiting to bring joy to HIS heart? We will all be doing this when we are with HIM forever, so why not start now and teach others? What a wonderful gift you would be giving HIM! A special session has been called for Monday, 7/1/13 at 2pm ET to re-address the abortion bill of Texas Gov. Rick Perry. See this link for information:

Help for spiritual warfare: A call to prayer and fasting tonight

Pastor Jim Staley of a Passion for Truth Ministries shares from his heart a call to prayer and fasting tonight to Friday night [see video link below]. He is asking for us – both Jew and Gentile – to humble ourselves and fall on our knees in prayer to our Father in Heaven. He says we have been living a partially or non successful spiritual life with people scared of the Holy Spirit. He feels the Father wants a revival worldwide. He wants us to request in prayer that the back and neck of the enemy and the yoke the enemy has on our lives be broken, that the Father pour out HIS Spirit on us, and that we show our love for HIS Son with all our heart, soul, strength and might. George Muller – German Evangelist in the 1800’s

I had a friend tell me about this man and I read the Wikipedia information on him which I have included below. I encourage you to read his whole story. What is especially of interest to me is his faith in Elohim’s (Hebrew word for God) providing for him and those in his charge. I have struggled with wanting to be led by HIM and trying to let HIM lead, but then I get worried or impatient if something doesn’t happen in my timing, and I move forward on my own and then wonder if I have angered HIM or if HE has had it with me and my lack of trust. I truly believe HE can do ANYTHING and to have the faith of a mustard seed for HIM to move mountains through me would be humbling. Continue reading →
