Is Prince Michael also JESUS/YESHUA’YAH?
Some denominations in Christianity believe that JESUS is also Michael the Archangel. From what I have read/been told the 7th Day Adventists and the Jehovah’s Witnesses believe this way and have differing views of the divinity of JESUS [the SDA that JESUS is GOD, the same as the FATHER and the HOLY SPIRIT; or the JW that HE is a lesser god]. There also seem to be differences with the above with some people within those denominations just as there are differences within other denominations. There may be other denominations than the ones above who believe Michael and JESUS are the same being.
Below is from Wikipedia on “Michael”:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_(archangel)
Protestant views:
Citing Hengstenberg, John A. Lees, in International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, states: “The earlier Protestant scholars usually identified Michael with the pre-incarnate Christ, finding support for their view, not only in the juxtaposition of the ‘child’ and the archangel in Rev 12:1-17, but also in the attributes ascribed to him in Daniel.”[13] Charles Haddon Spurgeon[54][55] stated that Jesus is Michael “the only Archangel”,[56] and that he is God the Son, and co-equal to the Father.[54] In Spurgeon’s view, “archangel” means “head of the angels” rather than “head angel,” and is a title similar to “Leader of the host.” (Daniel 8:11)[57][58][not in citation given]
Within Anglicanism, the controversial bishop Robert Clayton (died 1758) proposed that Michael was the Logos and Gabriel the Holy Spirit.[59] Controversy over Clayton’s views led the government to order his prosecution, but he died before his scheduled examination.[60][61]
Seventh-day Adventists:
Seventh-day Adventists, being of the Protestant heritage, lineage and faith, believe that Michael is another name for the eternal Son of the Father, the Heavenly Christ, and another name for the Word-of-God (as in John 1) before he became incarnate as Jesus. “Archangel” (meaning “Chief of the Angels”, “highest messenger”) was the leadership position as held by the Word-of-God as Michael while among the angels. According to Adventist theology, Michael was considered the “eternal Word”, and not a created being or created angel, and the one by whom all things were created. The Word was then born incarnate as Jesus.[62]
Seventh-day Adventists believe the name “Michael” is significant in showing who he is, just as “Immanuel” (which means “God with us”) is about who Jesus is. They believe that name “Michael” signifies “one who is God” and that as the “Archangel” or “chief or head of the angels” he led the angels and thus the statement in Revelation 12:7-9 identifies Jesus as Michael.[63]
Seventh-day Adventists believe that “Michael” is but one of the many titles applied to the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead. According to Adventists, such a view does not in any way conflict with the belief in his full deity and eternal preexistence, nor does it in the least disparage his person and work.[64] In support of the Seventh-day Adventist belief, Michael is also identified by them as being the very commander of Heavenly legions of the hosts of the LORD, God’s invincible army, which helped Joshua son of Nun to lead Israel in to conquering Jericho [Joshua 5:14 – “And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?”]
In the Seventh-day Adventist view, the statement in some translations of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God” identifies Jesus as Archangel, which is Michael.[65] (Other translations have “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God.”)[66] And the Seventh-day Adventists believe that John 5:25-29 also confirms that Jesus and Michael are the same.[65] Because of this belief that the Archangel Michael and Jesus Christ are one in the same, many mainstream theologians and academics in the field of Judeo-Christian history place Seventh Day Adventists in a unique category as a branch of, yet outside, mainstream Christianity.
Jehovah’s Witnesses
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Michael to be another name for Jesus in heaven, in his pre-human and post-resurrection existence.[67] They say the definite article at Jude 9—referring to “Michael the archangel”—identifies Michael as the only archangel. They consider Michael to be synonymous with Christ, described at 1 Thessalonians 4:16 as descending “with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet”.[68][69][70]
They believe the prominent roles assigned to Michael at Daniel 12:1 and Revelation 12:7, 19:14, 16, are identical to Jesus’ roles, being the one chosen to lead God’s people and as the only one who “stands up”, identifying the two as the same spirit being. Because they identify Michael with Jesus, he is therefore considered the first and greatest of all God’s heavenly sons, God’s chief messenger, who takes the lead in vindicating God’s sovereignty, sanctifying his name, fighting the wicked forces of Satan and protecting God’s covenant people on earth.[71] Jehovah’s Witnesses also identify Michael with the “Angel of the Lord” who led and protected the Israelites in the wilderness.[72]

Link to a SDA site’s article on CHRIST and Michael:
We emphatically reject the idea set forth in this question, and the position held by the Jehovah’s Witnesses. We do not believe that Christ is a created being. We, as a people, have not considered the identification of Michael of sufficient prominence to dwell upon it at length either in our literature or in our preaching. But we do have clear views on the subject, and are prepared to set them forth. And our views concerning Michael, it might be added, have been held by various eminent scholars through the centuries. We are therefore not alone in our understanding.
We believe that the term “Michael” is but one of the many titles applied to the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead. But such a view does not in any way conflict with our belief in His full deity and eternal pre-existence, nor does it in the least disparage His person and work.

I have heard people say that the SDA and the JW are “cults” and do not count them in Christianity. Personally, I believe GOD is judge and will make that decision. I do believe it is likely they are guilty of angel worship, possibly more in regards to the JW belief of HIM being “a lesser god and created”. Whether this nullifies their salvation, I do not know but GOD does know and I have prayed asking HIM about it. While the Bible warns us not to want the LORD’S/YAH’S Day of Wrath, I do look forward to when the Truth will be revealed and all deception and all denominations will fall away and all will be united again as the believers were in the early church in Acts 2, AMEN and HalleluYAH!!! May what is written below be used for opening eyes and getting rid of deception, AMEN!!! Gail
Point 1: “Michael” means “Who is like GOD” which is not the same as being “GOD”.
Point 2: The authority Michael has as prince of Israel, being “one of” the princes [spiritual not physical ruler of nations since Michael is of the heavens and not a man] or even the chief/arch angel, is not the same authority that JESUS/YESHUA’YAH has being “The” PRINCE of PEACE or MESSIAH “The” PRINCE. In both the previous titles “The” represents a singular title. Also addressed is MESSIAH/SAVIOR/Everlasting or Eternal FATHER, Prince of Life, Prince of Kings.
Point 3: Michael is also never referenced as: ALMIGHTY/LORD GOD ALMIGHTY/MIGHTY GOD; ALPHA and OMEGA; Branch; BREAD from Heaven/BREAD that gives Life/LIVING BREAD; Counselor; Faithful and True/faithful [and true] witness; first begotten of the dead; GOD/ELOHIM; GOOD SHEPHERD; High Priest; I AM; KING; KING of Kings; KING of saints; LAMB; LORD of lords; Mediator; Prophet; Root; SERVANT; SON of David; SON of GOD; SON of man; The AMEN; the beginning of the creation of GOD; The LIGHT of the world/The LIGHT that Enlightens/The LIGHT that gives life; The LORD our Righteousness; The ONE who lives; The WAY/The TRUTH/The LIFE; The WORD of GOD; Vine.
[ALMIGHTY/MIGHTY GOD/LORD GOD ALMIGHTY – Revelation 1:8, 4:8, 11:17, 15:3, 16:7, 16:14, 19:6, 19:15, 21:22; ALPHA and OMEGA – Revelation 1:8, 1:11, 21:6, 22:13; Branch – Isaiah 11:1; Jeremiah 23:5, 33:15; Zechariah 3:8, 6:12; BREAD from Heaven/BREAD that gives Life/LIVING BREAD – Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19. Michael could be referenced as elohim: ruler, judge, divine, angel, god. [CHRIST the LORD/SAVIOR – Luke 2:11, Matthew 21:3, 22:37, Mark 12:30, Psalm 110:1][Matthew 11:27, 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.] [Matthew 21:9 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord]
Point 4: The man in linen Daniel/Dani’el spoke to and the man in the beginning of Revelation John heard and saw, I believe are the same man who is the WORD who became JESUS/YESHUA’YAH. Verses in Daniel/Dani’el prove that this man and Michael are two different beings. Verses in Luke and Revelation also prove this.
Point 5: Michael is not the LORD/YAH but can be referred to as “lord” while JESUS/YESHUA’YAH is the LORD/YAH since HIS FATHER gave HIM HIS NAME Matthew 22:45.
Point 6: Michael is the archangel, commander/captain of GOD/ELOHIM’S army of hosts but is not the LORD/YHWH of hosts who is the HEAD of the army.
Point 7: That Michael as either the prince of Israel/Judah and/or the captain/archangel of the hosts/angels of the LORD/YAH can have people honor him by falling on their faces or bowing, etc. and it is an act of honor and not worship as GOD/ELOHIM/LORD/ADONAI/YHWH].
Point 8: Michael does not have the authority to rebuke satan but JESUS/YESHUA’YAH does as YAH/the LORD.
Point 9: That I Thessalonians 4:16 really can be explained rightly, sigh….
Point 10: Michael is an angel and is not the SON of GOD/ELOHIM. JESUS/YESHUA’YAH is the SON of GOD, the CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH and is not an angel. Michael could be referred to as a son of GOD/ELOHIM. [not completed yet]

1. Is Michael like GOD or is he GOD?
Michael = “who is like God?” [Hebrew – Miyka’el – pronounced: me·kä·āl Strongs H4317/G3413] “Who is like God” is a rhetorical question. A meaning of “rhetorical”: (of a question) asked in order to produce an effect or to make a statement rather than to elicit information.
A. There is no verse in Scripture that refers to Michael as the “LORD/YHWH” or as “GOD/ELOHIM”. He is called “one of the chief princes” and “your spiritual ruler/prince” [referring to Daniel and that he is from Israel] and “great prince which standeth for the children of they people” per Daniel 10:13, 21 and 12:1 and “archangel Michael” per Jude 9. “Voice of the archangel” from 1 Thessalonians 4:16 could be referring to him but does not call him by name.
YESHUA’YAH/YEHOWSHUWAH’YAH/JOSHUA Strong’s H3091 aka JESUS means “YAH/JEHOVAH is salvation”. IMMANUEL Strong’s H6005 means “EL/GOD with us”. While mortal men have had those names and they were never ELOHIM/GOD, we know from Scripture that JESUS/YESHUA’YAH is referred to as ELOHIM/GOD:
Psalm/Tehillim 45:6-7 compare to Hebrews 1: 8-9:
6 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever.
The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
7 you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Jude 1:25 compare to Hebrews 1:8-9 [above]:
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
John 1: 1-5 compare to Hebrews 1:8-9 [above] and Hebrews 1: 2,3,10; Psalm 33:6; Genesis 2:1[below]:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men. [I believe this shows two powers the WORD [JESUS] has that HE uses as GOD] 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power [I believe this is related to HIS power from John 1:3.], when he had by himself purged our sins,
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host H6635 of them by the breath of his mouth. [I believe “word” here should be capitalized – it is a NAME of HIS [JESUS]!
B. Michael is a created being. According to Genesis 2:1 below, the beings in heaven and earth were finished being created during the 6 days. The WORD is a being who is GOD and with GOD from the beginning, John 1:1, before being involved in the creation processes of the heavens and earth and all therein:
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host H6635of them.
Strong’s H6635 – tsaba’: tsâbâʼ, tsaw-baw’; or (feminine) צְבָאָה tsᵉbâʼâh; from H6633; a mass of persons (or figuratively, things), especially reg. organized for war (an army); by implication, a campaign, literally or figuratively (specifically, hardship, worship):—appointed time, (+) army, (+) battle, company, host, service, soldiers, waiting upon, war(-fare).
JESUS/YESHUA’YAH is not created but begotten, “Son” instead of “son”, much better than the angels, and the angels worship HIM:
Hebrews 1:4 Being made [to come into existence] so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. 13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
C. JESUS/YESHUA’YAH on the right hand of the Majesty on high: Psalm 110:1, Matthew 22:44, Acts 2:33/7:55-56, Romans 8:34, Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1, Hebrews 1:3,13/8:1/10:12/12:2, I Peter 3:22, Revelation 3:21.
Again, where in Scripture is Michael ever referred to as “GOD/ELOHIM” or even “LORD/YAH”. Being a spiritual ruler/prince/archangel, Michael would be “elohim or lord” [see Psalm 82]. Being “like GOD” and being “GOD” are two very different things!
2. The authority Michael has as prince is very different from the authority YESHUA’YAH/JESUS has as Prince.
A. Michael as prince: Daniel 10:13 But the prince [H8269] of the kingdom of Persia withstood me/took a stand one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief [H7223,H7221,H7218], princes [H8269] came to help/support me; and I remained there/excelled and joined with the king[s] [H4428] of Persia.
[H8269 – sar/prince; ri’shown H7223/ri’shah H7221/ro’sh H7218 – chief/primary/head, who shakes; H4428 – melek/king]
A few translations say “king” instead of “kings” for the verse above which makes more sense because there would likely only be one king of Persia at a time – human who rules. Also, Brenton’s Septuagint is interesting because it says that Michael is the one that is left with the king which would free up the one talking to come to Daniel: http://biblehub.com/sep/daniel/10.htm Wycliffe has a reference to the prince of Persia being an angel prince with Michael chief angel/prince: http://biblehub.com/wycliffe/daniel/10.htm This could be refuted due to Jude 1:9 referring to Michael as archangel [which comes from G757 archo – chief/lead/rule and G32 aggelos – messenger/envoy/angel], and Daniel 10:13 using H8269 sar – prince for both the prince of Persia and Michael, and also Michael being referred to as “one of the chief princes” instead of “the chief” of them. An angel/messenger is a different being than that of a prince, whether of flesh or spiritual, and they both would have different duties.
Daniel 10:1, 10:20 and 11:1-2 also show the difference between king[s] and princes of Persia. Since Michael is of the heavens and not a man of earth the verse above, Daniel 10:13, shows that the “princes” mentioned refer to spiritual rulers not physical. Michael is referenced as coming to help support the man talking in the verse, in regards to the [spiritual] prince of Persia who withstood the man. This allowed the man to join with the king[s] of Persia, who would be the ruling human king[s]. Psalm/Tehillim 82 gives more information about spiritual rulers/princes.
Daniel 10:21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth [H2388 – chazak – putting forth strength] with me in these things, but Michael your prince [H8269].
The above verse says that Michael was Daniel’s prince. Daniel was from The Kingdom of Judah, Daniel 1:1-7, which was destroyed around 586BCE by Nebuchadnezzer of Babylon. The Kingdom of Israel/Samaria was destroyed about 720BCE by the Assyrians who deported many from the 10 tribes of Israel with the remaining going to Jerusalem which grew 5 fold. All this from Wiki: Kingdoms of Israel and Judah. Michael is most likely the spiritual ruler of all Israel and not just of Judah because the split of Jerusalem from Israel came about because of men and was repaired.
From the above, I believe Michael is the chief of the messengers and one of the chief spiritual ruling princes [of Judah/Israel]. More below.
B. YESHUA’YAH/JESUS as Prince . Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto Messiah the Prince [H5057] shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
H5057 – nagiyd: prince, leader, ruler, captain which is from root H5046 – nagad: to make known, to bring to the light. H8269 sar: prince, ruler, leader, chief, captain, patron angel, etc. is from root H8323 sarar: be or act as prince, rule over, govern.
In the verse above from Daniel, the root of “Prince” [H5057/H5046 – nagiyd/nagad] connected to “Messiah the” [H4899 – mashiyach: anointed one – Messiah, king, high priest] has a more appropriate meaning in its root of “bringing to the light” which “prince” from “H8269 – sar” and its root “H8323 – sarar” do not include.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor [or Wonderful Counselor], The Mighty God, The Everlasting/Eternal Father, The Prince of Peace.
In Isaiah 9:6, “Prince” is from “H8269 – sar” this time and “Peace” is from H7965 – shalom/shalowm: completeness, safety, welfare, contentment which is from root H7999 – shalam: to be at peace, to be complete/finished/ended, to make safe.
Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince [H8269] of princes [H8269]; but he shall be broken without hand. [This could be talking about YESHUA’YAH/JESUS because Michael is “one of” the chief princes not “the” Prince.]
Acts 3:15 And killed the Prince [G747] of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
[G747 – archegos: chief leader/prince/of Christ. See verse below, too.]
Acts 5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince [G747] and a Saviour [G4990 – soter: saviour/deliverer/of Christ. Used only 24 times in Scripture, each one referencing CHRIST.], for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
We know from Daniel 10:13 that Michael is “one of the chief princes” [H8269]. He is never referred to in Scripture as Messiah the Prince, or Prince of Peace/Sar Shalom [the one who completes peace], the Prince of princes, the Prince of life, Prince and Saviour – all of which refer to either a singular title or being the head of.
Scripture does point to YESHUA’YAH/JESUS these ways with verses calling HIM the MESSIAH or CHRIST [G5547 – Christos: anointed one, Son of God]: John/Yochanan 1:41, 7:42, 20:31, Matthew/Mattityahu 1:1, 16:20. HE is our SAVIOUR [G4990 – soter: saviour/deliverer/of Christ]: Luke 1:47 and 2:11, John 4:42, Acts 13:23, Titus 2:13, I John 4:14, Jude 1:25 and others. Through HIS saving us we have the precious gift of eternal life which I believe Isaiah 9:6’s reference of “Eternal/Everlasting Father” is about. HE is the FATHER of Eternal/Everlasting Life. YESHUA’YAH/JESUS refers to HIMSELF as giving peace or that in HIM is peace [G1515 – eirene: national security, harmony, safety, salvation] in John 14:27, 16:33, Luke 1:79. I Timothy 6:15 calls HIM “Sovereign or Potentate” which is from G1413 – dynastes and includes the meaning of “prince“. Revelation 1:5 refers to HIM as “prince/ruler” [G758 – archon] of kings [G935 basileus – king/lord/prince/commander] which backs up Daniel 8:25. Sometimes the word a translator picks might not be the best for the translation from some of what I have seen, and can cause confusion. This is why it is good to look up the ancient word meanings ourselves for confirmation. While Michael is “chief [G757] of the angels” [G32 aggelos – messenger/envoy] per Jude 1:9, that is different then prince/ruler of: kings/peace/messiah-christ-saviour.
So now for point 4 which confirms that Michael and YESHUA’YAH/JESUS are two different beings because in Scripture, they were together or in two different places at the same time.
4.[Michael came to help support this MAN mentioned in Daniel 10:13,21 above. This shows the MAN has a higher position than Michael. The WORD of GOD/ELOHIM or the LORD/YHWH who is also CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH is not “one of the chief”. HE is one of the GODHEAD. John/Yochanan 1:1]
3.Michael is the prince [Sar – Strongs H8269, Sarar – H8323] – spiritual ruler of Judah/Israel. See also Psalm 82 which is about GOD/ELOHIM chastizing-judging the elohi[y]m [Strongs H430: rulers, judges, divine ones, angels, gods, elohim, mighty] for their unjust actions. I can believe that Michael was the only one that held with THE WORD against the other spiritual rulers. Also, for Michael to hold with this man shows again this man has a higher place then Michael.
Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
[The biggest key point to the verses from Daniel above is that the description of the man in linen, whom Daniel sees/hears/speaks to from chapter 10:5 through the end of chapter 12, matches the description John/Yochanan gave of a man whom he saw and listened to from Revelation 1:10-4:1. From what the man says to John and the churches we can tell that this is CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH John is listening to. So if the man from the above verses in Daniel is the same man from the above verses in Revelation, then Daniel is talking to THE WORD before HE was born in a body of flesh. With the man in Daniel telling Daniel about Michael being with HIM, then we know without a doubt that THE WORD/CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH and Michael are two different beings! Please see my study link for the research that proves this man is THE WORD/CHRIST-HA’MASHIACH: https://glclifestyling.com/2013/07/what-do-the-father-ancient-of-days-his-son-word-lamb-messiah-and-his-set-apart-holy-spirit-look-like-part-2/
3. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor [from another translation I believe this should read: Wonder of a Counsellor], The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [Strong’s Shalowm H7965 – completeness/peace/soundness/well, Shalam – H7999 covenant of peace/be complete]
[These are all prophetic NAMES of CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH. Again, HE is not one of a group of others except for the GODHEAD. Here HE is called the MIGHTY GOD not god, the EVERLASTING FATHER [HE fathered everlasting life for us] which is different then HIS FATHER in HEAVEN, and not “one amongst” other princes but “The” PRINCE of PEACE [only one].]
Isaiah 33:22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us. [this ties in with HIS NAMES and what HE does from Isaiah 9:6 and 32:1 and other verses.]
Isaiah 32:1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgement.[mishpat Strongs: H4941 – judgement, decision]
[This tells us what a king does vs a prince. CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH is the ONE who judges shalom/peace for all being The PRINCE of PEACE/SAR SHALOM. Michael judges Israel/Judah. Big difference in responsibility and authority. There are no verses that reference Michael as King, Melek-Hebrew and Basileus-Greek, but there are verses that show CHRIST/HA’MASHIACH is: Matthew/Mattityahu 2:2, 21:5, 25:34; John/Yochanan 1:49, 19:19, 12:15; I Timothy 6:15; Revelation 1:5, 15:3, 17:14, 19:16; Psalm/Tehillim 89:27; Jeremiah/Yirmeyahu 23:5; Zechariah/Z’kharyah 9:9, 14:9. So from above we have learned that Michael being the prince of Judah/Israel vs the WORD/CHRIST-HA’MASHIACH being the PRINCE of Peace are two very different areas of power.]
4/5/6. Luke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
[This shows one reference that JESUS/YESHUA’YAH is LORD/YHWH. Michael is never called “Lord” with a capital “L”. The words “GOD/ELOHIM/LORD/ADONAI” can be capitalized to show higher authority or left small “god/elohim/lord/adonai” to show lesser authority. Please see Joshua 5:14,15 below for an example of this. I also believe that the captain mentioned in the verses from Joshua is Michael. The verses from Revelation below show that Michael was leading angels in war.]
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
[“Beheld”: Strong’s G2334 – theōreō – https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G2334&t=KJV Thayer’s Greek Lexicon specifically references this verse for the following meaning of “beheld”: to be a spectator, look at, behold. This could prove that part of John’s vision in Revelation could have already taken place when he viewed it. I also believe part of his vision was about to take place, but that most would take place in distant times from the vision. The verses above from Luke and below from Revelation also shows that JESUS/YESHUA’YAH and Michael are two separate beings because when Michael was in heaven throwing satan out, JESUS/YESHUA’YAH was on earth and witnessed it and commented about it.]
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Revelation 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
5/6/8. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel [archaggelos: Strongs G743 – chief of the angels/messengers, archo: G757 chief/lead/rule, aggelos: G32 messenger/envoy/angel], when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
[The verses above show that Michael is the archangel/chief leader of the angels/messengers and that they were fighting satan and his messengers. It also shows that Michael could not rebuke satan but said for “The Lord” [capital “L”] to do it.]
6. Joshua 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?
Joshua 5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain [Strong’s H8269 sar: prince, ruler, leader, chief, captain, general, commander] of the host [Strong’s H6635 tsaba: war, warfare, host of army, host of angels, service] of the LORD [Strongs H3068: YHWH – the NAME of GOD] am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship [Strong’s H7812 – shachah: worship, bow, reverence, prostrate], and said unto him, What saith my lord [Strong’s H113: adown/adon] unto his servant?
7. [Above shows that the captain/sar of the LORD’S/YAH’S host was due honor because of Joshua falling on his face to the earth. Not all translations say what is shown above, “worship” from the KJV, but instead say: bowed, prostrate, reverence, obeisance. This action can be done before men of superior rank/nobility/elders, GOD/ELOHIM, false gods/elohim, angels. There is a difference between showing honor and actually worshiping in this action dependent on the belief of the individual and for whom they are making the action. Genesis/B’resheet 23:7 shows Abraham bowing [H7812] to the people of the land and Genesis/B’resheet 24:52 shows Abraham’s servant worshipped [H7812] the LORD by bowing himself to the earth. I believe Joshua was honoring the captain of the host of the LORD and not worshiping him as the LORD and that using the word “worship” in this verse is not an accurate translation.]
Joshua 5:15 And the captain/sar of the LORD’S host/tsaba said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.
Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince/ruler/chief/captain/sar of the host/tsaba [Strong’s H6635 – tsaba’ – war, warfare, host of army, host of angels, service], and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
6. [Angels/messengers [Strong’s H4397 – mal’ak – messenger, root: dispatch as a deputy] have wings and fly and hosts/ministers [Strong’s H8334 – sharath – minister/serve] are flames of fire. Some verses that show this are from Daniel 9:21 when he saw Gabriel fly in and Psalm 104:4 where it says that angels are spirits/breaths and Psalm 103:21 where it refers to hosts/ministers as flaming fire. Host can also refer to an army [Strong’s H6635 – tsaba’ – war, warfare, host of army, host of angels, service]. Care needs to be taken with word meanings by going to the ancient word behind the English translated word to be sure there is not a different ancient word/meaning behind it. In II Kings/M’LakHim 6:17, Elisha references the Lord’s/YHWH’S horses and chariots of fire around them. YHWH of hosts and the differences between angels and hosts are other studies in the writing. The point is that captain/sar of the LORD’S host may be a different position then archangel/chief leader of the angels. I believe it is possible Michael holds both positions or that “host”, being an army, could refer to both ma’lak/angels and sharath/hosts. I also believe it is possible that there could be an error in the Greek vs the Hebrew, which I have seen before, and that “aggelos” as “angel” should instead be “host”. Perhaps further research and prayer will reveal more.]
9. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord [notice this is capitalized] himself shall descend from heaven with a shout [G2752 keleusma: an order, command, loud summons, trumpet call from G2753 keleuo: to command, order], with the voice [G5456 phone: a sound/tone – instrument, voice – words, speech – language] of the archangel, and with the trump [G4536 salpigx: a trumpet] of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Above we see the LORD/YHWH mentioned giving a command/loud summons. It also mentions the “voice” of the archangel which we can see can include “sounding an instrument”. We can also see that a trumpet is involved too. So the Lord will descend from heaven and through HIS command/loud summons HIS archangel will sound GOD’S Trumpet and the dead in CHRIST will rise first! The voice of the archangel is the trumpet and the voice of the LORD/YHWH summons the dead [among other things]. So this verse too shows that the LORD and the archangel are two different beings with two very different authorities! How does one get from this that Michael is “the Lord”? Please see below. Btw, look at the roots of G4536 salpigx. Some fascinating things like G4535 salos: swelling of the sea, G4525 saino: wag tails, flatter, agitate, G4579 seio: shake, cause to tremble, fear. Amazing what GOD’S Trumpet does to people and creatures!
This is from a study on bibleexplained.com which I have fully near the bottom of this study. Take a look at what they had to say about the verse above: “Next let’s look at a verse describing the archangel. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout [command], with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” (1 Thess. 4:16) So the archangel, whom we saw in Jude as also Michael, calls the dead to life. Only one person has been given that authority. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (Matt. 5:25-29) In other words, only Jesus Christ will call the dead, so he is the archangel in 1st Thessalonians 4:16, 17 and He is Michael who calls Moses to life in Jude. And He is Michael who, with His angels, cast Satan out of heaven!”
8/9. This is Gail again. Look at what the person above also says about Jude 1:9. They say Michael is calling Moses to life! Is that what this verse says? I believe it is pretty plain that Michael is fighting and arguing with satan about who gets the body of Moses [where does it say that Moses is coming back to life?] and that Michael has to back off and say “the Lord rebuke thee”. Michael is not the Lord with a capital “L” and does not have the power to rebuke satan. Look at Matthew/Mattityahu 17:18 and you will see that JESUS/YAHSHUA has the authority to rebuke satan! In both verses “rebuke” is from the same Greek word G2008 epitimao. Btw, the verses above attributed to Matthew/Mattityahu 5:25-29 in the study from bibleexplained.com are actually in John/Yochanan 5:25-29.
More on “voice”:
John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice [G5456 phone: a sound/tone – instrument, voice – words, speech – language] of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
The word “voice” in both 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and John 5:25 are from the same Greek word Strong’s G5456: phone. This multiple meaning of “phone” is borne out in the Hebrew word “qowl” [Strong’s H6963]:
Exodus 19:19 And when the voice [H6963 qowl: voice, sound of instrument, noise/frivolity] of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice [same word as above]. One voice references an instrument while another voice references the voice of GOD.
By carefully examining Scripture with good sense and praying for help for discerning the truth, one should be able to know which of the multiple meanings of a word apply each time a word is used. All verses should bear each other out and if even one meaning does not bear out the body of verses in both the Old and New Testaments, then it needs to be examined for an error, in translation or otherwise, because GOD/ELOHIM is 100% accurate and does not make one mistake! AMEN!!!
Studies others have done on Michael:
Who is Michael?
“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.” (Rev. 12:7, 8)
Michael is not mentioned often the Bible but, by comparing texts, we can learn his more common identity. We begin with the little book of Jude:
“Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst [dared] not bring against him a railing [slanderous, 1306a2] accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” (Jude 9). Jude’s purpose in this verse is to condemn those who teach grace as license jude04 and who criticize authority jude08. He takes the dispute with the devil as an example, revealing other information that is of particular interest to us. So Michael is also the archangel. The prefix “arch-” means to be “first” or “reigning over.” This agrees with verse 7 where Michael is commander of the angels re1207. (Also 1pe0321f)
Next let’s look at a verse describing the archangel. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout [command], with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” (1 Thess. 4:16)
So the archangel, whom we saw in Jude as also Michael, calls the dead to life. 5:25-29)
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” (John 11:25)
“I [Jesus] am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell [the grave] and of death.” (Rev. 1:18)
In other words, only Jesus Christ will call the dead, so he is the archangel in 1st Thessalonians 4:16, 17 and He is Michael who calls Moses to life in Jude. And He is Michael who, with His angels, cast Satan out of heaven! Compare Song 5:10 which harmonizes with our seeing Him as head of the angels.
In Joshua 5:15, Christ identifies Himself as the captain of the Lord’s host. He was the captain of the angels of heaven. They are the Lord’s army (Rev. 19:14). Furthermore, He would not have accepted Joshua’s worship if He had been an ordinary angel (see Joshua 5). Thus again He is the archangel, Michael.
But angels are created. How is Christ an angel?
Without considering the explanation above, this is a logical argument. Christ was with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1). He is the Creator, with the Father, not the created. Beyond these concepts, which God has revealed, we have not been told and could not understand correctly. Speculation is not only fruitless because we must guess but it is not for us to indulge in. “The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deut. 29:29). We do know the simple concepts we have just discussed and can accept them.
Christ is a human because He took on humanity to save us. This does not prevent Him from also being divine. We do not know very much about His relation to the angels, but He was one with them and he was their commander. We cannot rule out the possibility that He also took their nature as He has ours. Lucifer wanted Christ’s job as he tried to work his way up to higher positions in the government of the universe (Isa. 14:13).
The word for angel in Greek and Hebrew also means messenger. So Christ, the messenger of the covenant in Mal. 3, is also the angel of the covenant. We see Him as an angel in Rev. 10:1, too, but that’s beyond the scope of our study.
See a summary explanation of Michael on another page.
Who is Michael?
Many people believe that Michael here is not Christ. Following is a summary of my explanation when we discussed Rev. 12:7: The argument against Michael being Christ is that, in Jude 9, Michael is called the archangel which means “chief angel” and Christ is not an angel. In one sense it is true that Christ is not an angel. He is certainly not a created angel. We worship Christ but not angels (Rev. 19:10; Heb. 1:4-14). But can the term, angel, have a broader meaning?
In 1 Thess. 4:16 The dead are called to life with the voice of the archangel. That voice is identified in John 5:25 as the voice of the Son of God. The words “angel” and “messenger” are translated from the same word in Hebrew and the same word in Greek. Christ is the messenger or angel of the covenant who comes to His temple in Mal. 3:1. The term “angel” is used to describe Christ in Rev. 10:1; and elsewhere. Also archangel can mean “chief of the angels” as well as “chief angel.” Indeed it is reasonable for Christ to be called an angel. He is one among us in having taken humanity (Heb. 2:11, 14). So He was the leader of the angels (Rev. 12:7) identifying with them, too. To suppose that Michael the Archangel is not Christ, both the passage in Daniel and the one in First Thessalonians must be severely strained. (Also explained at 12:7)
Gill’s Exposition of the Entire Bible [michael the great high priest]
http://biblehub.com/revelation/6-9.htm
And when he had opened the fifth seal,…. Of the seven seals of the sealed book; here is no beast speaking here, nor horse and rider presented to view; it was now a very dark time both with respect to the church of God and ministry of the word, and the Roman empire. This seal refers to the times of Dioclesian, and the persecution under him; and instead of the voice of one of the living creatures, John hears the voice of martyrs:
I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain; these include not only all the martyrs that were put to death in the persecution of Dioclesian, but all those that suffered in all the persecutions preceding; for this, being the last, involves them all. “Souls”, being immaterial and incorporeal, are invisible to the bodily eye; these therefore were either clothed with corporeal forms, as angels sometimes are, or rather John saw them in a visionary way, as he saw the angels: and these were the souls of such as “were slain”; their bodies were dead, but their souls were alive; which shows the immortality of souls, and that they die not with their bodies, and that they live after them in a separate state: , “the souls of them that are slain”, is a phrase used by Jewish writers (a), and who have a notion that the souls of those that are slain are kept in certain palaces, under the care of one appointed by God (b): and these were seen “under the altar”; either this is said in allusion to the blood of the sacrifices, which was poured out at the bottom of the altar, Leviticus 4:7, in which the life and soul of the creature is; or because that martyrdom is a sacrifice of men’s lives, and an offering of them in the cause of God and truth, Philippians 2:17; or with some reference to a common notion of the Jews, that the souls of the righteous are treasured up under the throne of glory (c) they have also a saying, everyone that is buried in the land of Israel is as if he was buried “under the altar” (d); for they think that being buried there expiates their sins (e); to which they add, that whoever is buried “under the altar”, is as if he was buried under the throne of glory (f); yea, they talk of an altar above, upon which Michael the high priest causes the souls of the righteous to ascend (g). Christ may be meant by the altar here, as he is in Hebrews 13:10, who is both altar, sacrifice, and priest, and is the altar that sanctifies the gift, and from off which every sacrifice of prayer and praise comes up with acceptance before God; and the souls of the martyrs being under this altar, denotes their being in the presence of Christ, and enjoying communion with him, and being in his hands, into whose hands they commit their souls at death, as Stephen did, and being under his care and protection until the resurrection morn, when they shall be reunited to their bodies which sleep in Jesus: and they were slain
for the word of God; both for the essential Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, whose faith they professed; and for the written word, they made the rule of their faith and practice, and which Dioclesian forbid the reading of, and sought utterly to destroy; and for the Gospel principally, which is contained in it:
and for the testimony which they held; the Syriac and Arabic versions read, “for the testimony of the Lamb”; and so the Complutensian edition; either for the Gospel, which is a testimony of the person, office, and grace of Christ, the Lamb, which they embraced, professed, and held fast; or for the witness they bore to him, and the profession which they made thereof, and in which they continued.

Martha and Mary: A Story in 3 Parts
When hearing the story of Lazarus [El’azar in Hebrew] and his two sisters, Mary [Miryam in Hebrew] and Martha, I believe the top things that usually come to our minds are about his dying and being raised from the dead by JESUS/YESHUA’YAH and about how JESUS/YESHUA’YAH chided Martha concerning how she was spending her time vs her sister – by serving instead of being at HIS Feet.
1. The first part of the story is in Luke 10:38-42, where Martha welcomed JESUS/YESHUA’YAH into her home. This is where the verses go into the detail about Martha being busy serving while her sister sat at JESUS’S/YESHUA’YAH’S Feet. It is pretty straight forward but do not be quick to judge Martha, as the second and third parts of their story hold the keys to a deeper understanding of their situation in Luke 10.
2. The second part of the story is found in Yochanan/John 11:1-46. These are the verses that describe the time of Lazarus being ill and dying and JESUS/YESHUA’YAH coming to see Lazarus and raising him from the dead. Please see the link below to the study on this passage which contains something surprising. Martha was the one who had belief in HIM, Mary did not. In fact, Mary and the Yehudim/Jews around her who did not believe in JESUS/YESHUA’YAH actually caused HIM to feel troubled and angry due to their disbelief!
Is your belief in the MESSIAH [CHRIST] allowing HIS miracles or causing HIM to groan?
3. The third part of the story is found in Yochanan/John 12:1-11, Mark 14:1-9, Mattityahu/Matthew 26:6-13, and Luke 7:36-50. They all are the story of the woman who poured costly ointment of spike[nard] on JESUS/YESHUA’YAH which HE said was in preparation for HIS burial. This woman is Mary/Miryam, Martha and Lazarus’s/El’azar’s sister. We know this because of Yochanan/John 11:2.

The Du Tillet Matthew: is it the correct one?
The previous study, where I first brought up about the du Tillet Hebrew Matthew/Mattityahu, included information that looked at the possibility of our present Gospel of Matthew being from a scroll written with errors in it. See link to previous study below:
I did a search on the du Tillet and found sites that had researched and presented their information on that manuscript, links will be included below. One site also had available an old book written and published about the du Tillet including translation in English called, “An Old Hebrew Text of St. Matthew’s Gospel” by Hugh Schonfield 1927. Below is from that book:
“In the spring of 1925 the writer purchased from a London antiquarian bookseller a small volume, dated A.D. 1555, containing the Gospel of Matthew in Hebrew, followed by a series of Jewish objections to the Gospel to the number of twenty-three, also in Hebrew. The text of the Gospel was accompanied at the end of the volume by a Latin translation. A dedicatory epistle to Charles de Guise, Cardinal of Lorraine, relates how Jean du Tillet, Bishop of Brieu, while travelling in Italy in the year 1553, found the Hebrew manuscript among the Jews, and brought it back with him to Paris, where he commissioned a Hebrew scholar, Jean Mercier, to translate it into Latin. Mercier, however, has a slightly different tale to tell. In his own preface he states that the Bishop of Brieu had extorted the MS. from the Jews of Rome for the purpose of examination. Confirmatory evidence of this statement appears in the fact that, on 12th August 1553, Pope Julius III. signed a decree for the suppression of the Talmud on the representation of the anti-Semitic Pietro, Cardinal Caraffa, the Inquisitor-General, afterwards Pope Paul IV. This decree was carried into effect in Rome with great ruthlessness on Rosh Hashanna (Jewish New Year’s Day), 9th September 1553, for not only were copies of the Talmud seized, on the plea that it was inimical to Christianity, but every Hebrew book on which the minions of the Inquisition could lay their hands. It is highly probable that the Bishop of Brieu found the Hebrew MS. of Matthew’s Gospel among the confiscated books.”
“When we turn to the New Testament we find that there are reasons for suspecting a Hebrew or Aramaic original for the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and John, and for the Apocalypse.”, from Preface page vii. On the next page, Schonfield goes into information that states he believes the canonical Gospel to be an abridged edition of a larger original work with even more information then we have today of CHRIST and HIS sayings and of which only fragments have survived. He further states that he believes the Judaean Christians were going to use it as the last book of the Old Testament canon. It has been referred to by the names “The Gospel”, “The Gospel of the Lord”, “The Gospel of the Twelve, or, of the Apostles”, “The Gospel of the Hebrews”, and “The Hebrew Matthew”. He believed the original to be in Hebrew and possibly Aramaic and that the Greek renderings were from it and could be proven as such.
This is Gail: When I was in Israel I met a scholar who stated that he believed the Greek to be secondary to the Aramaic and that it could be proven through examining the translations if one knew the languages. I found out there is an Aramaic vs Greek primacy dispute between Eastern and Western scholars in regards to the original New Testament manuscripts.

In “Caesar and Christ” by Will Durant, on page 616 is this paragraph which backs up what Schonfield said above: “The literature of Christianity in the second century abounded in gospels epistles, apocalypses, and “acts.” Christians differed widely in accepting or rejecting these as authoritative expressions of the Christian creed. The Western churches accepted the Book of Revelation, the Eastern churches generally rejected it; these accepted the Gospel according to the Hebrews and the Epistles of James, the Western churches discarded them. Clement of Alexandria quotes as sacred scripture a late first-century treatise, The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles. Marcion’s publication of a New Testament forced the hand of the Church. We do not know when the books of our present New Testament were determined as canonical-i.e., as authentic and inspired;; we can only say that a Latin fragment discovered by Muratori in 1740, named after him, and generally assigned to ca.180, assumes that the canon had by that time been fixed.”
On page 556 Durant says, “Orthodox tradition placed Matthew’s Gospel first. Irenaeus describes it as originally composed in “Hebrew”-i.e., Aramaic; but it has come down to us only in Greek.” This agrees with what is stated in the preface of the “Holy Bible: Ancient Eastern Text” by George Lamsa:
“With reference to….the originality of the Peshitta text, as the Patriarch and Head of the Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church of the East, we wish to state, that the Church of the East received the scriptures from the hands of the blessed Apostles themselves in the Aramaic original, the language spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and that the Peshitta is the text of the Church of the East which has come down from the Biblical times without any change or revision.”

Tongues: what is the Truth?
There are big divisions in churches/congregations and with believers which are separating people. I look forward to the Truth being fully known when YESHUA’YAH/JESUS returns so believers can be united again and turn from what is not the Truth, AMEN! Tongues is one area of division but remember, it is not salvational. From what I have experienced/read about, some believe the Biblical gifts are not being manifested anymore, others say they are but not much and wonder why, many others are way too loose and not using the Bible how they need to discern correctly.
GOD/ELOHIM has impressed upon me that during these days of great deception, we need to lift up in prayer ANYTHING involving supernatural occurrences, dreams, visions, prophesying, healing – there can be false healing too, prayers we or others pray – especially praying for something but not asking for GOD’S/ELOHIM’S Will, etc. This is to protect us from deception, the will of our flesh, pride, other people’s wills, and error in beliefs, etc. GOD/ELOHIM is not going to take something from us HE has given but HE will take away what is not of HIM if we ask for discernment and help, AMEN!
YESHUA’YAH/JESUS did talk about night coming when no one could work which is from John/Yochanan 9:4 and I wonder if this is why the Gifts are not being manifested as much. I believe there is much deception replacing the Truth. This is an anti-christ spirit – something replacing the Truth. The belief that tongues are languages and are only valid when someone can interpret is Scriptural and what I believe. There are many who believe that what they speak, which does not sound like a language and that no one interprets, is tongues. So what is the Truth? Continue reading
Unclean spirits are real today, too…
JF, was obese and had numerous cats to the point of horrible uncleanness. Both are signs of a hold of spiritual wickedness. GOD/ELOHIM [Hebrew word for GOD] allowed me to be at the hospital when she was getting an x-ray and I got to see it on the machine and get a copy of it later. I saw three demons in her chest x-ray: a pointed eared elf like face with a large fancy necklace with gems was over her heart/left breast [She recognized the description and said her mother battled it. Her mother taught her how to contact spirits.], a tiny face biting on her where her pain was, and a boar with a long snout in her stomach. I believe from Biblical research that unclean spirits are a type of water vapor that inhabits the voids of our bodies because of sin. More on this in another study. Continue reading
Happy Birthday FIRST-FRUIT of the New Covenant!
JESUS/YAHSHUA/JOSHUA has risen!!!
HalleluYAH! HalleluYAH! HalleluYAH!
Isaiah 42: The Lord’s Chosen Servant
1Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights;
I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations.
2He will not cry aloud or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street;
3a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench;
he will faithfully bring forth justice. 4He will not grow faint or be discourageda
till he has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands wait for his law. 5Thus says God, the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it
and spirit to those who walk in it: 6“I am the Lord; I have called youb in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people,
a light for the nations, 7 to open the eyes that are blind,
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness. 8 I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other,
nor my praise to carved idols. 9Behold, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
Isaiah 49: The Servant of the Lord
1Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar.
The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
2He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away.
3And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”a
4But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity;
yet surely my right is with the Lord, and my recompense with my God.” 5And now the Lord says, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for I am honored in the eyes of the Lord,
and my God has become my strength— 6he says: “It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”
Isaiah 51:4
“Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations.
Isaiah 62:11
The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.'”
John 1:4-9 In him was life; and the life was the light of men…
Luke 2:32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”
Acts 13:47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'”
Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and …
Acts 26:23 that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”
Isaiah 49: The Servant of the Lord, continued…
7Thus says the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and his Holy One, to one deeply despised, abhorred by the nation, the servant of rulers: “Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall prostrate themselves; because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.” 8Thus says the Lord: “In a time of favor I have answered you; in a day of salvation I have helped you; I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages, 9saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’ to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’ They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture; 10they shall not hunger or thirst, neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them, for he who has pity on them will lead them, and by springs of water will guide them.
16 Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
Revelation 1:5
and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,
Colossians 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
The Order of Resurrection – I Corinthians 15:
…20But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. 22For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 23But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, 24then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.…
…22“So, having obtained help from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, stating nothing but what the Prophets and Moses said was going to take place; 23that the Christ was to suffer, and that by reason of His resurrection from the dead He would be the first to proclaim light both to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”
The Jerusalem Channel – Get Serious with GOD in Prayer!
The above link is to a good teaching concerning responding to ELOHIM [Hebrew word for GOD] and getting HIS attention through understanding HIS ways of communicating to HIM through prayer. Christine Darg and her husband Peter are behind “The Jerusalem Channel” which goes out from Jerusalem to the world. They speak on issues concerning our FATHER in Heaven, MESSIAH YESHUA/JESUS CHRIST, the HOLY SPIRIT, and what is happening in Israel and the world and how it relates to Scripture. Continue reading
CHRIST’S model of prayer, are your prayers answered?
CHRIST/The MESSIAH is clear that for prayer to be answered we must:
1. ask “our FATHER/ABBA in Heaven” in “JESUS CHRIST the LORD’S NAME or JOSHUA MESSIAH YAH’S NAME or YESHUA/YAHSHUA HA’MASHIACH YHWH’S NAME or ________, AMEN” [One of HIS NAMES is AMEN! HE covers all of HIS people even if they use an inaccurate name because of transliteration errors or spellings!]
[l Tim. 2:5; Heb. 7:25; I John/Yochanan 2:1; John/Yochanan 5:43 and 15:16; Revelation 3:14 see #6 below]
2. ask according to the HIS Will/Desire
[I John/Yochanan 5:13-14, see #5]
3. make sure we are obeying JESUS’S/YESHUA’S commands and that HIS Words are staying in us
[John/Yochanan 5:2-3, 13:34, chapter 15; James/Ya’akov chapter 4; I John/Yochanan 3:21-24; see #4] Continue reading
